The fun and interactive programme uses creative storytelling workshops as a vehicle to enhance the conversational English language skills of participants, especially refugees and new/old immigrants who have limited understanding of English language, British values and culture. Through inclusive, playful and creative activities involving oral storytelling, drama, acting, role-playing, music, poetry, singing and dancing, the workshops help to fasten the organic integration of participants into British society.
Activities can lead to award of accredited certificates to participants in IROKO’s ‘Communications and Expressive Skills Development Programme’.
