This interactive and hands-on programme offers participants the opportunity to experience and explore in-depth, African storytelling, drama and theatre techniques, as part of world theatre studies. Workshop involves introductory demonstration and hands-on African storytelling and drama activities. Participants will be encouraged to work in groups and use various expressive means e.g. improvisation, storytelling, drama, characterisation, music, sound and physical theatre elements i.e. rhythm, song, dance, mime and movement, etc., to explore devised or textual work.
